The Antonio Meneghetti Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation is pleased to present the new volume “Perspectives. Lizori. Signs and Dialogues”, the result of an interdisciplinary research project developed within the framework of the Meneghetti Award.
The book highlightsthe work carried out during a workshop held in the medieval village of Lizori, located in the heart of Umbria, which was regenerated thanks to a restoration initiative launched by Antonio Meneghetti in the 1970s.
Through drawings, photographs, and theoretical reflections, the volume explores the themes of living, beauty, and the relationship between humans, architecture, and landscape. The experience of the authors—experts, artists, and scholars—creates a dialogue between art, representation, and creativity as tools to interpret space, read the landscape, and imagine new future scenarios.
In this perspective, Lizori becomes not only an object of study but also a living space for research and inspiration, offering a replicable model for the enhancement of rural sites.
Edited by Fabio Bianconi, Marco Filippucci, and Michela Meschini, the book is aimed at researchers, designers, scholars, and readers interested in exploring the cultural and symbolic value of rural territories.
