The “Hortus Lizori” event promotes the enhancement of villages from the perspective of Sustainable Development and consists of a series of representations made during a workshop that involved young designers, who, working in the village, enhanced its potential by representing innovative and sustainable conservation actions.
Inside Palazzo Trinci, visitors will also be able to admire the works of the founder, Antonio Meneghetti, creator and initiator of the recovery of the Lizori hamlet, which, as an open-stage museum, they will be able to discover as they wander through the alleys leading to the exhibition venue.
The “Hortus Lizori” project, supported by the Antonio Meneghetti Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation and conceived by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Perugia, proposes a reflection on the theme of sustainable development of abandoned hamlets and has been selected as a best practice by the United Nations and published on the UN SDGs Platform for Action website.
