The Antonio Meneghetti Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation participated in the 2026 ECOSOC High-Level Segment with an oral statement, accepted and delivered on 15 July 2026 at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Focusing on the situation of young people not in employment, education or training and on their capacity to act, the statement highlighted the potential contribution of ontopsychological pedagogy to strengthening personal responsibility, balancing digital exposure with concrete experience, and fostering young people’s active participation in economic and social life.
These themes were subsequently revisited and explored further on 25 July in Florence during ICAP 2026, within the international symposium Ontopsychological Pedagogy and the Challenges of Today’s Adolescents: Hikikomori, Idleness, and Digital Fragility.
