A theme that, as expressed by the convention chairman professor Kazuo Shigemasu, “expresses the hope for a further development of psychology in further areas, to better contribute to give harmonious solutions to the cogent problems of contemporary society”. The Antonio Meneghetti Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation (CH) and the International Ontopsychology Association have promoted two international symposia in the frame of the convention: Education and General Health – An Interdisciplinary Approach to Young Generation and Towards social well-being – The challenge of the psychology of the leader. Besides, participation in the convention was completed by contributions in the shape of posters: in the “Clinical Psychology” session, a poster on the theme “Post Natal Depression: Early Intervention and Promotion of Wellbeing” was presented, while the “Media and Psychology” session offered the frame for a poster on the theme “Cinema and Unconscious: Cinelogy”. All abstracts of the studies presented were published on the International Journal of Psychological Science, Special Issue: 31st International Congress of Psychology, 24-29 July 2016, Yokohama, Japan. Volume 51, Issue Supplement S1.
