On 26 April, 2017, the 1st European Latvian Economic Forum (E.L.F.) “Made in Latvia – Economic Identity of Latvia in Europe and in the World” was held in Riga. The opening of the Forum was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, members of the European Parliament, the vice-president of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, ambassadors of different countries, academics, entrepreneurs, investors, politicians and young people. The forum was organized by the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, whose director Dr. Nina Linde was also the moderator in the first plenary session of the Forum (see program PROGRAMM_ENG.pdf) -
